In the Bamboo Session we explored various techniques for fusing electronic and acoustic layers. The present director’s cut consists of all three takes we recorded. „Doucement, Capitaine“ is an incantation to carefully deal with power.

This is a recovery track for Fatima. (If it is too exciting for you: listen to it later.)
(Sometimes things have to be in disorder to find into a new order. Provisorisch. Smartass.)
If you listen to the track on the computer speakers you probably will not hear the beat.

You hear a slightly edited version of „Some people are here“.
The eyes of Marion Masuch accompanied the soundcheck of Fatima Njai and me in the large cupola on Teufelsberg, Berlin. There is a constant reverb of about 10 seconds. Low action is working much better in here and it is worh testing the relation of source and place of reception. A funny game in an acoustically exeptional space.
Fatima is going to be featured in the Lump200 live shows starting in March 2013.
