The new Lump200 album is out and available now, digitally and on 12″ vinyl. Both can be purchased in our bandcamp shop , you can get it on iTunes, amazon etc. and stream it on spotify etc. In some european countries you can get the vinyl in your local record stores (distribution: SOULFOOD).

I composed and produced the music for the radio play „Suppe kalt, Herz leer“ (Michael Stauffer/WDR3). Kalle Kalima played some guitar, I made beats with sword/air sounds, prepared dulcimer, played some bass and vibes, processed and fused and arranged all the ingredients.
Michael, author and director of the piece, constructed a combination of written texts (women) and improvised reactions (men) after having recorded the speakers separatedly. I find the result very sharp and rich.

In the Bamboo Session we explored various techniques for fusing electronic and acoustic layers. The present director’s cut consists of all three takes we recorded. „Doucement, Capitaine“ is an incantation to carefully deal with power.
